I don't know if anyone else has posted this but my 12 pt weaponsmith from bria still gets 12 experimentation points... whew! I may have been the only one concerned about this not carrying over but it does. You are able to experiment on damage and speed separately as well now. Also when crafting a powerhammer with base bones and some of my best iron and copper i got a hammer that is preslice only 10 max damage points lower and faster than my workhorse uber max damage from my swordsman on bria after it got converted. The conversion on these pre-cu weapons is terrible atm.
my hammer before cu was 732 max damwith a damage slice
after cu:
spd 3
547 - 1052 dam
104 special cost
the hammer i created with bse bones and good resources before any slice is:
spd 2.79
552 - 1042 dam
126 special attack cost
(I put the experimentation points all into damage and speed)

so what you're saying is that most PHs now are useless? If you can make 1k max dmg hammers..

Maybe we can get them to give us a "break down" process for enhanced weapons. Aren't the armor smiths getting something like that for mando and RIS?

The convertion process is not what the Devs promised.
Pre-CU High-end weapons are less then average POST-CU weapons.
This will have serious impact on the economy.
And even more so if the damage cap is enforced.

get that thing sliced, and you will be surprised. I'll bet the dmg slice wont go higher than 3%.
Dmg seems to be soft capped now.
It Now really doesn't matter if you are using akley bones or not because of the dmg caps, a normal hammer can still get a good slice, but a enhanced hammer will only get a crappy slice because of the softcap.
The gap between the enhanced and non enhanced weapons is VERY small in cu- (~10-15%).
