Thread: Where should I look for expiermentation tapes?

I am tired of trying to buy them, I would rather go out and find them myself. 
it's more fun to go hunting then pay out the a$$ for them, so any ideas where i should start looking?

The borgle bat cave on rori, its a poi. On most servers its camped by persons that loot very fast. Usually there are 2 piles of debris at the end of the cave. One of them also spawns rubbish so its less popular. If you plan to actively loot, that might be the best spot. Some of these people might use a 3rd party program to loot very fast, which is a violation of the user agreement.

Thanks for the replys i only need 8 more points to hit +12 smith. I got 4 pieces of clothing I cn use a +2 each on if I had too I might be pounding the pavement this weekend

You aren't on my server, so I will tell you what I did to make most of my suit. I go to the aa'kuan caves on talus. The guys in the back and the defenders and warders throughout the cave have a very high drop rate of attachments. I am talking like 1 out of 10, which isn't too bad. Obviously you still need to get really lucky to get the tapes you need, but you can usually find plenty of other attachments there to sell that other people need.

I'm pretty sure the Borgle cave was nerfed a while ago, last time I recall stopping there the two piles at the bottom of the cave were no longer openable, they just gave credits.
Basically anything that can drop loot has the potential to drop attachments, but the tougher the mob, the higher the attachment mod potential. So you won't get a +25 off of a meatlump, but you might off of a Nightsister Elder.
Also there are several NPC's that drop clothing that has mods, same rules as the clothing attachments - the tougher the mob, the higher the mod. I looted my +11 Weapon Experimentation Tusken Boots from the Tusken King at the bunker.
Good luck.

i got all my weapon experimentation off my servers trade forum (all except for the +3 bando which is craftable).
might cost you a bit, but if you want it fast and got the money, post a LTB thread there

That is why I was asking what might drop them. I don't want to buy them
