Thread: Are powerups in the CU? How do they effect the cap?

With the current cap on weapons, which I think will stay, are powerups useless now? I have not had much chance to test, and haven't looked for these at all. Do they still exist?

But my question involved weaponsmiths and their damage cap and if they had noticed powerups effecting them. It was a blanket question that covered a lot of different overlapping forums. I was curious if any weaponsmiths had tested this to see if it invalidated their damage experimentation line now that it is capped.

Useless, no. More usefull, no. Less useful, yes. For a better idea of the types of Pups available and what bonuses/penalties (they will have both) are available visit the Artisan forum.



I have not had much chance to test, and haven't looked for these at all. Do they still exist? Yes, they still exist. Visit the Artisan forum for more information.





In answer to your other question, hard caps weaponsstats will be unaffected by the use of Powerups. For more information on Powerups visit the Artisan forum.

nerfed to hell .. they are full of opposites like adding damage but lower the speed just as much so you do the same or slightly less dps with a powerup... oh and you get accelerated weapon decay for chosing to use a powerup that gives you slightly lower dps than before.
