Thread: Loot Pricing Guide?

As a BH, I'm picking up a lot of loot these days, and unfortunately, I'm fairly ignorant to the Weaponsmith profession.
I picked up a reinforced casing: Max Damage 179; Attack Speed -0.79; Attack Cost -7. I did a galaxy wide vendor search to get a feel for pricing, but I only found two with the good, old 99999999 listing.
What's a reasonable asking price for something like this, and has anybody put together a price listing guide for these loot drops? I'd hate to have to run an auction everytime I loot a WS component.

Tbh its an impossible question to answer for us, as server economies vary a lot. Try looking through your trade forum for auctions allready made with components in the same range as yours, thats the best answer I can give

As a Bounty Hunter myself, I would also suggest checking your trade forums. Usually I work out an agreement with a weaponsmith ahead of time to purchase the items at a per item cost. For example, on Shadowfire, my weaponsmith would pay me 400K per casing for that damage range. Each server and weaponsmith is different so I would suggest trying to work out some kind of deal like that.

These are hot items right now worth more than krayt tissues but like it was already said it depends on your server. These have been going for a few million on my server as a set but your server may be different.
