Whats the best dps you have made on a weapon you made,does anyone know what the max dps seems to be.

andi think best dps would be a dmg and speed capped advanced laser rifle

if you're asking about modded DPS I made an HLC for a client that I could hit 978modded dps with on my alt. If I was master rifles it probably woulda broken 1k

with the new cells and full speed experimentation i am sure u can get base dps over 400. I can make weapons with 300 dps and a max damage of 780(basically a crap weapon with high sac low speed and very low damage i.e. not really a very good weapon.) Almost every WS will tell you dps means nothing absolutely nothing. My highest crafted weapon was scatter with 375 base dps that i made about 2 months ago, before i realized just how worthless it was with a sac of 100 or so. My best weapon is a bowcaster with 385 base dps 2.41 speed 618-1236 104 sac(pre-cu conversion) but on this weapon its all about the damage. If i want i can throw on a speed powerup and get my mod dps over 1000(with +25 rifle speed and +25 general ranged speed).

I tend to throw points into Special Attack Cost instead of all damage and speed. Its nice to see really nice DPS but if you cant use the weapon whats the point. My best weapons are probably the 65 SAC pistols with DPS of 320-330 unsliced... using the new BH loot.

I can get 410 out of Featherweight FWG5's with really nice reinforced casings, this is after a full speed slice, and the weapon being roughly min dmg 390 to capped max dmg.
