I have read all kinds of stuff on fixing a weapon but it is all pretty much opinion.
All i want to know is the truthabout repairing weapons, can they be destroyed if failed, or is that just a myth? Can i do it myself or does a weaponsmith have to do it to have it done right? I am really lost as to what will happen if i try to repair my knucklers of katarn, i really dont want to lose them and i dont have the money for a ADK.These thing where hard to get. Please someone help me

There is always a risk of the weapon being destroyed when you repair it. Anyone can do it, as the repair mods are broken. Best thing to do is get a high % weapon repair kit (98-100%) and hope for the best. (heck get an inspiration buff too) Only way to make sure it doesn't die is to ADK it. Adding PU's to weapons make them decay faster.
Good Luck.

I haven't repaired many weapons, possibly none since the CU but a looooooong time ago a WS could repair it with minor blemishes almost 100% of the time, but around patch 7 they changed this. Now there is just a tiny advantage to having a WS repair in my opinion, if you can't find one just fix it yourself before it hits 25%, but under 50%.
