Thread: What components?

Just a little curious....let´s say that a player wants a 12pt WS to craft an dmg/SAC capped E11mkII. What kind of stuff should he/she bring to make you happy? What kind of stats does the various components need?

Can you reach cap with krayt tissues of medium quality? Do you need the adv.weap. scopes? The enh. power cells?

What is the optimal combination? What is "doable"?

Have a look here as it guides you through most of your questions.



As for looted scopes. Well if you want speed more than a couple of points of accuracy then the looted scopes are better than crafted ones. Alternatively if you can get your hands on some pre pub 22 scopes with high accuracy then you can have the best of both worlds.


Be adviced though that most tests conducted shows that weapon accuracy on weapons are broken atm. (I still go for high accc whenever possible cause I want to make the best of the best and because it wil be fixed at one point )

Well...I see which enhancers to use...which components etc.


I was curious about if there´s an approximate minimum on the stats of...let´s say krayt tissue/enh.power cells?

Or does it vary from WS to WS depending on luck, quality of resources etc?

Krayt tissues will allways better the weaponthe lowest tissues (+30, from pre CU) will add a smaller amount of improvement, but the weapon will still be better


That being said I myself rarely craft anything with enhancers below 100 (this only holds true for ranged weapons though). But that is merely a question of demand and most people consider weapons crafted with lesser enhancers for grind weapons.

Now that you know what enhancers you will need. You can find the weaponsmith you want. And see what his normal non enhanced carbine looks like. Now
the damage cap is 1063.75 and the sac cap is 72. Lets say his normal carbine is 889 dmg and 83 sac. 1063 - 889 = 174. So you will need 174 or higher tissue or cells to cap that carbine. If you want to be 100% sure get a little higher so he has some extra to spare. Now the sac 83 - 72 = 11 Krayt tissue doesn't lower sac but power cells do with -7 or -8. Now that's not the 11 we are looking for. But it's close now it's time to talk to the weaponsmith in question and ask him if he could dmg/sac cap the carbine with lets say 180 -8 power cells. If he says yes well take his word then if he's a real master he knows what he's doing and the top smiths of the server have enough experiance to tell you yes or no.


The looted scope is just extra it doesn't add dmg or sac reduction. However it does add a high amount of accuracyand reduces speed a little bit. Accuracy is supposed to give you more dmg if your accuracy is higher then your enemy's defence. Some people believe it works others don't it's just a personal choice.

If your Accuracy is higher than your opponent's defense, then you get an accuracy bonus, and it does work
