I have no clue how weapon carfting works.
I found an advance weapon scope
-.72 speed
Wound 7
Accuracy bonus: 11
it says that there is 6 of them...does that mean you can make 6 different riffles with this set? or does a riffle require certain amount of scopes to make one?

each weapon takes 1 scope. With the exception of the rocket launcher i think those take 2 each.

Also, with the exception of the rocket launcher, scopes are an optional component.

Ok, 1) the scopes can be used on almost any weapon (couple pistols and think spreystick dont take them) not just rifles.
2) the component is not needed to make a weapon(cept for the odd rocket launcher).
3) 90% of looted barrels, scopes and what not is junk

Those scopes are not junk by any means, they have a negative speed value which is a very nice bonus compared to player crafted one's.
As far as their value, that'll depend on your servers economy. Your best bet is to scan your server's trade forurm to get an idea of prices for them.
