Well this floors me. 2 million a gun surely resources cannot be this out of control. Needless to say I am not going to spend 2 million on a gun when I am supplying so many parts. Now I am a pretty understanding guy. So I sit there for a moment trying to rationalize why the hell these guns are costing me 2 million credits. Maybe he is only useing 30k recource kits but I do the math and at server standard I am on sunrunner. That would come up to 233 credits a unit at 300 units of material a gun that still only adds up to 70000. Plus last time I check llcs and scatters used vastly different resourcesand numbers of resources and yet they add up to the same price?

I have tried to think of any justifiable reason why it costs 2million other then the player simply wants to rip me off. For whatever reason I cannot fathom. So I ask the question isnt that well alot steep for priceing since I am giveing you the parts. He replies what can I say I am a jew ithorian. Answers my question right there. He is enjoying the fact that he can screw around with me. I make a counter offer of letting him have the remainder of the reinforceing caseings I have a stack of four. No reply at all.

Has this just become common practice in the weaponsmithing profession to take someone to the cleaners. My alt is a weaponsmith that I seldom use now I am working extra hard on my combat getting ready for mustafar. I never charged rates this increadibly high. I couldnt find another 12 pointer so I am wondering the following is it remotely possible for a 10 pt smith to cap these weapons. I got all the requisite awesome materials. If anyone is curious the name of the weaponsmith was blaek on sunrunner. If there is any non gougeing 12 pointer on sunrunner who is looking for a new customer please send a tell to nemepace.

The only rational explanation I can think of for this is that I ran a auction on my servers trade forum and made 60 mil unfortunately that went all to adks I am a MBH/MCH so I really have to make up for mods in attachments. Do you guys think he is singleing me out for a higher charge. Otherwise I have no clue I have treated this guy alright when he buys my stuff at the auction I always have it to him in under a day. Never done one mean thing to him.

According to our list of WS by server... the following are 12pters on Sunrunner - one of those might be more helpful.

2milto craft aWeapon, when your providing the enhancements is a joke, I would take your business elsewhere.

Yeah I wrote the list down earlier unfortunately none of them were on. My props to the weaponsmith correspondent on very good and thorough work. I even took the time to write down the caps on the items I wanted. Anyway I thought it was unrealistic to pay that much.

Possibly he just did not want the work.... I know in the UK builders often quote silly amounts because they do not really want to do the job, but they think once in a while some mug is going to take me up on the offer and I will be quids in

I used to charge 20k-75k per weapon (75k being for T21's when they took 10 handler). Since the CU I have upped my pricing to 225k-250k, and since the WS buffs, 325k-350k. I realize that is a lot of money but I use Pre-cu components made on Patch day (patch 7). These components will never be matched, ever. Anyway, if the person asked for 2mil, that is his _right_. Maybe he's saying in so many words, "You're gunna get a double capped weapon and ADK and never come back, so I want to get my money now rather than never." It's also your right to say "WTH! 2mil, are you nuts?" I'm sure there are many 12pters that will do the craft for a few hundred k creds, just gotta look around.

Just out of curiosity what sort of stats on your "Patch Day" subs?

2 mill to assemble a weapon that you're providing the loots for sounds outrageous to me. However, that may have been the price to make it worth that WS's while. After all, resource costs aside, he has to stop what he's doing and get a resource buff to make your weapons. It doesn't take a lot of effort, but some people value their time more than digital credits.

Another factor, it's not uncommon for people to resell the weapons they have custom made. So this WS may have figured you were going to resell the weapons for ridiculous amounts of money, and he wanted to be sure he got his "share". After all, he's the one with the expertise, skilltapes and spent hours upon hours building up his resource collection to make the best. In his view, it may suck to do the work for a 100K just to see those guns go up for auction for 10 million credits.

At any rate, I hope you find a 12-point WS who can do the work for a more reasonable rate.

not 100% sure off the top of my head but I have some -1.80 speed ABPH schems, mainly those and barrels are the best

Neither Scatter nor FWG should ever be more than 2 mill each, no matter what cells are used, and no matter how capped they are.

Whenyou supply the cells, you should get a fair deal. Maybe up till 500K per weapon, all depending on the WS. What you pay for is slightly more than resources and buffs, it also takes time.

I have no problem charging 1-200K for assembly, when someone bring the enhancements. Thats what i could make by a good grinding trip to Dantooine (in the same amount of time)
