Have the resource reqs changed on weapons again???


The reason I ask is last night I crafted 2 Fwg5's both hit over 332 base dps, both wound capped and one capped speed too, both were under 80 sac


Today I have logged onafter the update to use the rest of my Reinforced casings, and the feed mech crafting went fine, hit 99% exp on SAC and 47% speed. Went on to crafting the FWG5 it self, I used exactly the same resources as the previous craft only now insted of being in the 90% range they are more like 70%. When the base crafting was done with a great success the base experiment level was 20% instead of the 27% that I had acheived before.


I saw no hint of nay resource req change in the publish notes, **edit** is going on...anyone else have the same problem

O_O, just checked it, using a variety of varying stats for steel in a ferrous metal slot. It seems experimentation max is back to the old out of 1000 style.

Checked on ferrous metal slot on High Cap scatter. Doonium slot seems unaffected.

Update, seems that it is probable that they have changed the cap on cd when calculating experiment values to being 1000, in line with jtl spawns.

Pre-24, 1000oq 666 cd Steel was 100% for ferrous metals. Now 816 oq 904 cd is better.

Pre-nerf trandos, scatters, anything that used steel/iron. (FWG5 iron slot was around 75% for a 942/489 kammris).

my cd444 oq995 kamriss is coming out about 75% too


and my cd603 oq985 duralloy steel is around 75% too...it was about 95%.....this is a big problem for me

Any ranged weapon using generic "iron" is severely affected by this. It looks like the cap was changed to 1000 CD, but iron never gets above 700 CD. Specific irons (kammis, doonium, etc.) still have their old caps though.


There are many weapons now that can not be made anywhere near as good as before. The Beam Rifle, EE3 carbine and FWG5 to name just a few.


Tiggs once said "If it isn't in the patch notes then it is a bug." Since there were no crafting changes in the patch notes I am reguarding this as a bug. Hopefully we will get a hotfix ASAP.

Could you guys please lsit what resources you see affected by this?


and please also if you can add what difference it makes in the final stats. The more info I can take to the devs the better

so far these are the resources I have seen affected:


Ofiliium -Duralloy Steel

These resources gave me 95% in there relevant slots in an FWG5 pistol pre pub 24, now they only deliver 75%


Base experiment value of resources pre pub 24 27%, post pub 24 20%


Pre Pub 24 FWG5 crafted with +183 reinforced casings and componants with maxed SAC and also speed exp - base build no experiment


speed 2.0, damage 790 max, base dps 270.5 SAC 79


Post pub 24 FWG5 crafted with same enhancements and componants - base build no experiment


speed 2.03, damage 730 max, base dps 260, SAC 83
