I'm sure you all know how happy the Rifleman community is with or Master level weapon. With it's caps set at or near the ALR, anyone with a combat mastery can enjoy both our damage numbers and range, and many dabbler Rifleman templates can handle a rifle as well as or better than most Master Rifle templates. When many players feel that feel that being able to fire a stopping shot, knockdowns, and who knows what other nasty effectsfrom 80m makes Rifleman overpowered, needless to say were looking for anything we can find in our only defining weapon. So far, the best our coro has been able to get from the Devs is "Rifleman is working as designed" :/
What I'm looking for from you guys is...
1.The Min Damage caps on the ALR & T21. I looked in the Stat Cap thread but didn't see these listed.
2. Stats on how an ALR and a T21 with resources of compareable quality would compare if experimented to the same percentages.
If it does turn out that the two weapons are exactly the same (other than th ALR being easier to make and accepting a scope), then we might have a leg to stand on when we ask for a bone.

The only advantage I've ever noticed is that T-21s have much higher wound chance. And, while this may not really be the case. I've noticed weapons with higher wound chances tend to stick states more often. At least for me anyway.
Either way the lack of a scope doesnt seem to have much of a downside for some at least. As I still get requests for T-21s.

the t21 uses more named resources. odds of having them at resource stat caps are less. with the alr you need two resources that spawn pretty frequently. if you craft a t21 and an alr with any servers best resources, most of the time the alr will be better because of that alone.

there should be a test on page 1 or 2 on this forum showing that weapon accuracy(from scopes) does not do anything.
but yeah, the only advantage, which is subjective, is the looks from the big boy.

Plus the fact that ALRs benefit from the reduction in speedfrom the looted scopes. T21s can't get this as they don't take scopes.

T21's were one of the few weapons that were intended to have a multiple beam adjuster (3 different beam phases) when the CU first came out. However, the idea was scrapped before it hit the beta and with it went any advantage thata T21 might have had.

trandos and ALRs are both better than T21s due to scopes and easy resource requirements. theyre also both lvl 54. if you could adjust a t21 to face different armor types, it would be advantageous.

I believe all weapons were supposed to have settings, so you could focus on different types of damage. Was a good idea until the "Sandbox" was scrapped and they announced the RoTW beta instead of the CU Alpha.

Well dont know about other servers. But Bria has near cap resources for the T-21 in all named resource catagories. So it's rather easy to make a really high end T-21. Beyond that yeah. ALRs generally seem to be the way to go. Yet oddly I sell more T-21's than I do ALRs.

T-21's are big...good for people compensating for something?
T-21's sound alot meaner than ALR's

Wookiee rifleman are the most powerful in PvP since Assault bowcasters do kin and most people wear recon armour/psg.
