Hey there,
I'm a former Master Ranger, Creature handler, looking to get into the weaponsmithing department. Just wanted to say hello to future colleagues and also looking for some tips =)
(only artisan for now, but i'll get there soon enough)

Hello to old Rangers and new that I have not yet met... as we speakI am downloading what seems to be the entire game over my dial up connection. Goddamn, how many patches have there been since I left this game 4 or so months ago? Well, in about *looks at watch, back at launcher* .... a year, I will be logging back on as Svengali to ensure his survival! Now this is only temporary. But goddammit anyways I dont want to lose him for when I get to come back for a longer period of time and hopefully join you all in space!
So Im sure you'll be seeing alot of me here on the ranger boards during this month, as I get very bored bringing people their "best classic rock."
I see Calc is still our Corr.
So, um... anything changed?
I didnt think so...

Oh wow over dialup that could take a while. Just the usual changes conceal and tracking. Nothing really much more then that

... guess I'll be playing sometime tomorrow! hehe
edit - Oh, and does anyone know what number the most recent patch was, excluding anything that you had to have JTL for. Seems I am just finishing downloading #10... I think I have a ways to go.

11 is the latest patch plus a dozen hotfixes.
Sounds like you were here when we got tracking and conceal. So really nothing new besides winged pants we can not talk about.

Back again old friend 
The Patches go up to 11_03.tre and then there are a bunch of hotfxes but they're pretty small. Hopefully see you on tomorrow night.

There is a known bug with the estimated time remaining (at least there used to be one). If you are at patch 10, you are almost done.

There is a known bug with the estimated time remaining (at least there used to be one). If you are at patch 10, you are almost done.
ROFL, the estimated time for download when I reinstalled was 238hours... In the end it took about 8 hours actual d'l but that was split over nearly 16 hours of connection time as my ISP kicks me every 2 hours and, for some reason, Launchpad didn't like recommencing dowmloads on some files.
Stick with it. Keep saying "It'll be worth it in the end"

I had three impacted wisdom teeth out on Friday and have been more than a little loopy since. I aparently sent out several PMs that I completely don't remember lol (anyone who received these, let me appologize now, if they were even readable) - I am very grateful I didn't post anything. Im starting to regain my equilibrium and flushed the rest of the pain killers (nasty things!).
And Svengalli - a lot of the download is probably the Jedi revamp and JTL. Lots of exciting stuff out now.
