You might want to ask on the armoursmith forum 
I think however that both armour colour and weapon colour shoudl be soething hte WS/AS decidedin the crafting process

well, it wouldn't be very difficult, just a variable in the model file...
if they can spontaniusly nerf thousands of LVAs, they can make weapons change colours i think
