Thread: How hard is it to find rare gemstones?

OK, i trades 4500 of metal for 2000 irolun reactive gas, even though it was 157OQ. I may have gotten the raw end of a deal, but i got the resource, and even with that low OQ componenet, my advance power habdlers make me happy.
As I get towards Firearms 4 and eventually master, my quesion is this:
How much should i expect to pay for Rainbow gemstone, and green gemstone (i think the 2 needed to t-21, and for advanced blaster rifle barrells)?
3 creds a unit? 4? 5?
Also, how hard is it to find?

no idea, I do all my mining myself. But rainbow gems are in the T21, and it's Ryll that you need for the adv. blaster barrels. Green Diamond is used in the adv. scopes.
The difficulty to find ranges from easy (is on the same planet as you), medium (is spawned in the galaxy, but not on your planet), hard (spawned a couple of times, but not recently... have to pay extortianate prices for it from other crafters) to impossible (it's never been on your server, ever! - like rainbow gems on Tarq)

be happy if you can even find someoneto buy the raibow gem from, it has NEVER spawned on tarquinas, and the alantium carbonite or used in it spawned a long time ago but has never showed up again, i scored some from a miner but it cost me like 8creds per unit.....good luck even getting it
