I'm not a weaponsmith, so help me out here please. The patch notes today state, "Fixed a problem with loot components that was causing them to all be stackable. Loot components should only be stackable if they are all looted from the same creature."
Does this mean exactly what it says, that multiple looted components dropped from the same creature are indeed stackable, and their modifiers are then summed on the final product? So if I find a drop of two +20 vibro motors, both would be usable for a total powerup of +40? If this is true, is this new, or has it always been this way?

I assume they putting serial back onto tissues etc, is what they mean.

A poster stated that a Krayt killed today dropped tissues that again had serial numbers.
The big patch from last week removed the serial numbers. This allowed people to create an awesome power handler schematic using 1 really good tissue, and then mass produce them with the dime a dozen (well... comparitively
) +30, -0.3 style Krayt tissues.
Stats on stacked components in schematics never add - whether it is weapon enhancements, bio tissues in clothing, or anything else.

more importantly they elude to a different serial # per krayt . Therefore no more krayt t-21's. You know they hate that weapon. If someone put a +90 tissue and a bunch of other crap ones on a t-21 its back to pre-nerf stats w/ better speed. I have no idea why they have such a hardon for this gun. Considering how much bang they packed into the commando rework.
