Thread: Need Help I just put a +8 weapon exp tape and a +5 into 4 socket gloves and all I see is the +8????

You are from Chilastra huh? What is your ingame name?
And I'm afraid to tell you, that you screwed up big time. When you put 2 tapes in a same socketed item, and those 2 tapes have the same mod, only the higher mod tape prevail while the other one is lost. There is NO WAY you can recover the +5. About the boots, is your inventory full? If it is full, you can't put those on. Destroy or get rid of something that gives you space, then try to wear them. If you still can't, relog then try again. If you still can't after that, send a bug error ticket.

ugh thats painful- sorry man
only thing to do is put each attachment onto a different piece of clothing-then you'll see it add up.

Ouch, that really hurts! I hope you got that +5 for free. Given the going rate on wanderhome, that should be around 5-8 million cr.

Same thing happened to me with a +3 Tape.
Don't expect any help from the CSR's either as they told me that they don't have any way of tracking skilltapes. This is a bug that has been around since launch and they refuse to fix it. The least they could do is start helping people effected by it or even try warning people.

I'm just a novice Artisan, but I'm gearing up for weapon crafting and have collected some tapes. Can you put different tapes in the same piece of clothing? Like +1 experimentation and +5 assembly? I have 5 experimentation and 5 assembly tapes and a 5 piece outfit to put them in. Will this work? I've played for about6 months, but I've always sold the tapes I've found. Any input would be greatly appreciated.--Feck
