Dont get me wrong I like having something new to play with and better choice, but oh god am I fed up with the tells!! Every man and his dog wants a 'good' weapon made with the 'best possible stuff' at 'no expense', and of course you now get the 'have you got +20' crew who drop you like a brick when you find out you haven't.

Please excuse me i'm just trying to avoid cracking up

If you make them bring you all the components, the idiots will go away and the more patient people will collect some good stuff.

POKEY THE PENGUIN SIG REMOVED BY GARVA BECAUSE "Just because you are crafty enough to get around the technicality of it being a .jpg or .gif does not mean it is not an image, it is not ascii art, it is an image" SO HERE IS MY NEW SIG.

I have a combat alt, and ive collected alot, and i mean alot from the geno caves. I just destroy all the individual sword and reinforcement cores, but every time i go in there i get a new rifle schem and enough green cubes to make a batch. Yellow cubes if im lucky, agent and a whole bunch of schems for sword and reinforcement cores. Ive also been lucky to loot the fabled 'genosian blaster schem'. I generally done sell anythng but the dx rifle in my shop. I keep the decent core schems for weapons for me and my friends.

It aint all that new TeeBee. It lasts what, hmm, 2-5 crafts. Then your back getting baited for more, or making what you always did.

It's like half the Developers saw a need for new content, but the other half of the Developers saw a needto donothing. Thus the Temporary content. Good for oh say, about on the average a limit of 3, if I wagered a guess.

And not only that, its really nothing new. It's actually dumbed downstuff. I mean, how do you like crafting the Disruptor Rifle. Visably its a static object. It looks cartoonish. And I can't take the stock off or add a different muzzle. I'm stuck, left to use the GUI THEY make me use. Short cuts were taken and its obvious.

All of this should have been in the game day one. Expecially the Scythe, it's not like there wasn't a certificate for it then.

It's not too bad, I have been making DXR6b rifles. Prices and demand will steadily come down on these. The good thing about these are the low condition. I got only 616/616 using white cubes. This means there will be a steady supply for these but they will become a lot cheaper. The bad thing is it makes it almost pointless to make a Krayt version on these.

The irritating one is the Scythe. This one is rare and people expect you to do these basically free. They don't realize that the good ones take a power cube as well to get the advanced sword core and not to mention it takes 2 of those!

I hate it whenpeople giving you the schematic and then are outraged when you say sure I can make you two swords for 200k (and that's cheap). I pay 50-60k for a yellow cube not to mention the money to get the ADV. core schematic.

I love the custom orders

Of course, I burn myself from crafting too fast, so I just don't log into the game.

There's something to hope for in the Space Expansion. Didn't that Imp say, "No ship that small has a cloaking device."? I sorta remember him mentioning that. But then again, Gungan's threw acidfilled ballons and they are not in the game. So much unused content, so many overused exploits.

Do like I do, whenever you're tired of people asking for freebies or for those schematics you don't have, select something dull and non-interesting as your title. Nothing worse than being in the bottom of the tusken fort and getting a tell, "Hey d00d can u make me sythe and cheep plz, kthx"

Lack of significant title keeps the idiots at bay.

The people I do custom orders aren't idiots, many of 'em are repeat customers. (I think I'm on some of their friend lists, when I get messages the *second* I log on). So the whole tag changing thing wouldn't help

There is no way I'd go after the parts or schems myself. The only parts I hunt now are those I use for my display weapons.

Best thing to do is tell them what they need to find and where to find it. Thats the way SOE intended it to work. Otherwise weaponsmith would have combat skills included in the tree.

"Hiya, can you make me an uber Scythe?"
"Sure can, do you have the schem and parts ready to roll?"
"Nah, just want a complete one."
"Ah well I'm a fulltime crafter, don't really have the skills to kill crits. I can can tell you what you need and where to get it though. Then I can put it together for you with the finest resources ever."
"Kewlies"
"Great, you'll need......"

...and off they go on thier very own quest for an uber scythe. Mean while I am free to return to my regular stock, or the next /tell that comes in.

If I tried to stock every little bit for every schem, I'd be out of business in a week. besides most players like going after the parts they need, gives them a new game goal.

I agree that thats the way it should work soar, but it usually doesnt happen that way

I have had master rifleman ask me how much money it would cost for me to farm nym all day to get those vibro motor enhancers because they were cosnidering taking up TKA. They think I am crazy when I tell them it will cost 14 million because thats how much sales I would be losing (exxagering some of course but screw em.. they asked a stupid quesiton and I figure it would take a couple days to drop skills to train up master rifleman to do what htey shoulda been doing in the first place).

yeah whenever i tell them you need X number of solidifying paste, or X number of power cubes, or that you got to bring me the dang scythe schem, they kinda just wander off. i'm not that hardcore of a WS to go hunting for everything. i'm sure there are plenty other WS that will tho' so power to them.

Ahhh well, it always works for me

Only about 1 in 10 actaully come back with some or all of the parts I told them about. And the ones that dont get the bits needed, I almost always see again when they are looking to buy a regular weapon.
