Hi
I'm a Armoursmith on Chimera, looking to begin making Bone Armour from the Ackley. I was asking peoples opinions h what layers and cubes should go into this armour. Obviosly white cube are the worst to choose, but someone said their WS friend found u could use ANY white cubes (serials didn't matter) in factory runs. Whilst the armour I'd be making wouldn't be as good it would allow me to make a decent amount of armour with this schematic instaed of one suit.
So is this true? Or is it BS?
Thanks
Blunder

I've heard the same thing, so i'm guessing it's possible. I'd be very careful doing that though, as it's probably considered an exploit. I don't think it's to hard to see how getting around the serial number requirements is in some sense cheating the system, and my gut tells me this is a bug. Actually, in principle, this situation is a lot like when we found krayt tissue without serial numbers, allowing people to mass-produce krayt enhanced weapons. That issue was considered an exploit, so I'd guess this would be too. However, there's been no official word on it yet.

I made a run of Geno Cores recently starting with a lot of 7 white cubes, but put different set of serialed cubes into the factory, and it didnt work. Maybe there is some type of exploit to get them to work, but I havent seen it ![]()

Have a similar thread running on the AS forums, its like the krayt bug, u need a unserialised cube. Someone has one on the AS forums so its looking true, but we're left guessing whether its an exploit and risk bannings if u use the idea as sony don't want to draw attention to the bug by saying yay or nay.
