I just started using the Fooman's tool, and have a question.
I have already entered all of my resources.
However, when I choose schematic, it never shows available resources for generics such as metal, ferrous metal, steel, etc.
It will show anything specific like chromium aluminum, dolovite steel, etc.
How can I get it to choose the best resource when all that is required is metal?
I have all of my resources ranked as 1 on the resource tab.
ANy help is appreciated, thanks!

I double checked, but I have already entered one in the "use this resource as generic type" field for every resource.

Hi - not sure if this is the answer you want to hear, but failing all else you could move over to the Jenner/Fooman 1.6x tool, which is a development from the Fooman tool. If what I understand your problem properly, I'm fairly sure that the Jenner/Fooman version will do this... haven't used the Fooman tool, so not 100% sure that we're on the same wavelength!
There's help on transfering your resources to the new tool in the 'General Crafting' (I think - maybe weaponsmith?) forum on SWGCraft.com.

Under the "What to harvest today" tab, the is a colum:
OPTION
x=Always Harvest
1=Harvest >=best
2=Harvest >=2nd Best
x=Always Harvest
1=Harvest >=best
2=Harvest >=2nd Best
Put a 1, in all the boxes.

Where can I download Jenner's tool? I can't seem to find any links to it.

Thanks, found it. Kind of like it more than Fooman's original but it's so much slower.

If it's the file I think it is then you need to copy it to C:\Windows\System32 (or whatever the equivalent is on your system).

I entered all of my resources last Friday. Took forever but boy was it worth it! I can't believe I used to do without this thing!! I stare at it in disbelief every time I notice how useful it is.
