I'm a new MWS, but I've been playing a PvP/PvE character for quite a while before the recent switch. How the heck did everyone find/get/acquire all the extrta WS exp. or assembly skill tapes?!?
I've never ever looted one or even seen one on a vendor for that matter??
Is there any NPCin particular that drops them more than others?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Nightsisters are reported to drop some of the higher end ones. Rumour also has it that the Borgle Bat Cave on Rori used to be a good source.

I found them on the forums, and shelled out over 30 million credits for my tapes.

If you're just starting out, it's better to spend your money on the best resources you can find. However, if you're an established smith with a good resource collection and more money than you know what to do with, then it's kind of a nice perk to have. But the skilltapes aren't really mandatory to be a successful smith, though they help if you plan on doing a lot of custom work using looted components and such.

Resources Resources Resources and Resources, and it has already been pointed out only get the tapes when you can afford it and are established. I only very recently got my experimentation to 11pts, its very nice it means I can make Adv Stocks max out alot easier and I can get slightly better stats on all my weapons (lower HAMs, better Accuracy). But put it this way before I was 11pt I was a better weaponsmith then a 12pter that took a 3month breakbecause I had better resources.
