Thread: WS Skill tapes cost

I've put off buying WS Skill tapes due the extra-ordinary pricing on Chimaera server. Now to me it looks extortionate, is it the same on other servers ? People are paying 1 mil for a +1 tape. Seeing as tapes aren't stackable - how useful is a +1 tape anyhow. You sure as hell can't wear 20 different items of clothes. I know of people spending 10 mil on a +5 experimentation tape - 2 mil a point. Surely this is OTT. To purchase a full +20 set is going to cost in excess of 40 mil - and that aint easy to come by (not by selling rifles anyhow). Is this me being a tight git, or is it all going mad ?

i feel your pain... prices are about the same on flurry. it's just inflation rearing its ugly head. i'm trying to secure +10 so i can at least have 11 pts. but even that is at least a 10 mil investment for a melee only WS... would take about 2-3 months to make back. ugh

Maybe they really needed it, or maybe a big WS wanted to keep it out of the hands of up and coming competitors

yeah...lol..there just really really expenive....maybe try and go for 11 points, its a lot easier to get and cheaper, with almost all of the kick as a full 12 pointer...

wow... only 40 mil. On Intrepid we had a suit go for 80 MIL.
40 is not so bad.

on Farstar they sell for 1-2M per point... well, they did a few months ago
now with the credit dupe and inflation it may be more
