Thread: Can someone tell me how to get Wpn Expr Tapes?

i am tired of trying to bid out the cash hounds of this game trying to buy even a +1 wpn xpr item. Anyone know where is a good place to get alot of high end tapes/attachments?
Also, I know the caps are at 125, but why would anyone go to 125 when 120 gets you to the 12 point WS and the other 5 are a waste?
(I also use a wpnsmith belt that gives me +3 Wpn Expr so all I need is actually +17 more points.)

Go to the Nyax cult POI on Corellia and kill Lord Nyax himself 500 times and you might find a +10 or more

There's really no point in getting +25; as you said, you only need +20, so you can just stop there. As far as tapes are concerned- the best place to get them is from the trade forums. 
Seriously, WS tapes are hard to come by (especially the high-end ones)- you can kill NPCs for a LONG time and still never see one.

In theory every point helps in getting better results so if you can get +25 total, may as well.

well went there, oliterated the room and found nyax, 53k HAM so I figured I am buff wearing 80% + all armor and lots of mind (3400) so nooo problem
Nyax -1 shot, mind, 4000 damage, incapped
Me - Force of Will use
Me - run like a dog slamming down muon
Nyax - chasing me like the Dog Catcher
Me - get outside, fast kill two Nyak loyaltists. Hop on swoop to get outta there to recharge my mind
Nyax - comes out gets in cover mode like a rifleman, and 1 shot kills my mind, DBing me
Me - flying off my bike and dead. See another person, ask for a rez. They say no and proceed to fight Nyax. I clone
Me - cloned, calling guildies nearby, and proceed to wait next 2 hours for nothing. just random Nyax loyaltists spawns and that is it, no more Nyax.
next time, going to go with an army. LOL

Hehe, he is a little more dangerous now with the NPC specials enabled, but still defeatable 
I think he is a rifleman cause he keep using Advanced strafe for mucho damage as you experienced. He is on a 3h30 to 4h respawn timer starting at server boot.
And remember, he dont drop tapes that often, but when he do they are usually pretty good.

yeah but even when I was a Master Rifleman, and with a high powered t-21 (he's using an laser rifle) I still was unable to do that much damage to another player.
no way should he be able to do 4k damage aganst someone wearing 80% armor to everything, except stun (36%) and lightsabre.
this is just as bad as other races that when they fight, they have unlimited damage now. I took on a Spider Clan Elder (300k HAM) for over 2 hours befor my mind went, and this person can do it in 1 shot?
needs to be fixed.
