Lately more and more weapons have been requiring special loost that as crafter none of us can really get....
its an extremly negative tendency that limits the netry of new weaponsmith(competition)
and stability into server economies due to the fact that new weaponsmith can not possibly financially compete
with an established WS for the purchase of loots or schematic.(not a whine..been MWS since August)
And with addition of new "content" come new loot schematics and new loot reuirements for crafting those items.
When did we move on from SWG and entered EQ?
any thoughts on the impact on stability of economy of this "looted" items?

I dunno.
When I go hunting for weapons it usually takes me a good 2 hours and 3 planets, because I have the money to spend to get mid-range of what I want.
When I didn't have that much I just took anything that popped up. That's how you compete when you're new. You find the people who are looking, since you're hungry for it, and you have a better chance of getting the sale first. The more established smiths have their spots picked out and charge a hefty sum, but people with money will go there.
There seems to be this : I want it now! attitude prevailing everywhere, and I think it's BS.
I've had some moderate success because I ran around selling things to people, not expecting them to show up and buy from me. If you want to be successful, you have to roleplay a starting merchant. You have to hit the streets, network, talk to people, give a few samples, make them remember your name. Leave the high end stuff to the established crafters, and you will find yourself in their ranks in a little time.
....or you could go chef...tee hee
