: pll ask for making custom orders like these:

1. a guildie asks for some standard weapons.

2. a guildie brings you schematics and components and asks you to make a certain product of it.

3. a stranger asks you to make some standardweapons for him/her.

4. a stranger brings you schematic and components and asks you to make a certain product of it.

By guildie i dont mean friend, we all have "special price for you my friend" politics, by guildie i mean kind of stranger bearing same tag as you.

Thanks. :-)

Guildie and friend are two different things? Hmm. Interesting concept. Every last one of my guildies are friends and get whatever they want for free.Anything. Weapon, money, loot.. doesn't matter, all free. And vice versa.

Well, to your questions:

1) Free, no matter what it is.

2) Free,no matter what it is. But, I'd try to use my own components and schematics so they could sell theirs.

3)Standard weapon? Probly for about 75% of what it costs on my vendors.High end weapon... probly about the same as on my vendors. Oh, add weapon repair... I do that for nothing.Sometimes 1K a weapon to offset the 6K for the repair tool.

4) Same as for #3, except it's probly going to be "high end", due to them bringing me a schematic and such.

This is very nice, but some players are in very large guilds and this wouldn't be feasible, ever have 250 people ask you for crates of free C12 everyday so they can grind FS

2) Free,no matter what it is. But, I'd try to use my own components and schematics so they could sell theirs.

Why would you do this!?! If people in my guild were selling weapon loot after getting free loot enhanced weapons from me, I'd go insane.

3)Standard weapon? Probly for about 75% of what it costs on my vendors.High end weapon... probly about the same as on my vendors.

LOL.... Better hope your server doesn't findout about this or noone will buy from your vendor, just send you a tell because it's cheaper..

4) Same as for #3, except it's probly going to be "high end", due to them bringing me a schematic and such.

First of all, thanks for the 1 star, when I was just answering honestly a few questions asked.... Very intelligent. I won't 1 star you, though.... In fact, I'll give you 5 for the laugh you gave me this fine morning.

1) If you're in a guild of 250, don't do what I do,I don't care. I wasn't telling everyone what to do, just answering a question, ya' genious.

2) Why do I do it? Because they're my guild mates. I'm not a selfish 12 year old. I play to have fun, and help those around me have fun. It all balances out, as they make me armor for free, hook me up with loot or money for free. It's just how it works.

3) It would be great if a lot of people sent me tells. I'd have a blast crafting up all those weapons, and making some friends... and *gasp* having fun playing the game.

4) Dang, you didn't have some extremely intelligent babble for #4?

What I used to do was tell people when they joined that they should buy from my vendor then if they wanted a discount to send me an email and I'd tip them back 50% of the price.

2. a guildie brings you schematics and components and asks you to make a certain product of it.

Regular price of weapon

3. a stranger asks you to make some standardweapons for him/her.

If they aren't on my vendor already, regular price, if they are on the vendor I'd probably tell them it was on vendor and if they still couldn't find it 5 times my regular price

4. a stranger brings you schematic and components and asks you to make a certain product of it. Still working on this one myself.... double the price of regular is what I'm thinking so far.

I'm sorry you feel that way but I felt your response wasn't very helpful to the original poster, they explicitly stated that they were in a large guild and you proceeded to:

A) Insult that guild ideology, in your first paragraph.

B) Provide answers that probably won't help, especially given the fact that they indicated they were in a large guild.

Hey Ybagi,

What I just quoted is the original post. Please highlight where he/she says anything about being in a large guild. Please show me where he "explicity" says he's in a large guild and how I "insulted that ideology".

He asked questions, I answered. Simple. OK, yes, I added a little at the beginning, but every guild I've ever been in, in online games period, everyone is friends and every helps everyone else no matter what. That's the point of a guild.

Oh, by the way, I'm in a gaming guild of almost 400 people, and every last one of them would get the shirt off my back, even ifevery member played SWG.

Wilewea, I apologize for the thread hijacking. I tried to answer you questions. I should know better than that by now, I guess.

Hehe, thats no problem Impcrusher.
I think your a good pll, with many beatifull thoughts for sure, but when it comes to other pll, please dont jump to conclusions.

Im not a bad pll, i dont tell pll to go suck a raw egg if they ask for help, il help, im a good pll, very friendly, you should meet me.

When a pll in my guild does something for the guild, i make sure to let the pll know i appreciate it, if its a doc, i would never take

a buff from him without asking "how much? " i would expect the person to say "nothing" like I would do to him, should he ask for a weapon.

But i would tip him some money anyway, cause thats how it should be in a guild, I think.

Thats "how it should be".

But is it?

Thats what i want to find out.

Thank you all for answering to my original post.

I do the same except the guildies don't have to ask for the discount, I just tip it back.

For loot stuff I just charge 50% of what I would charge for the resources....I mean they went through the trouble to get the loot, all I'm doing is spending some resources and time.

Also my prices are not absurd so everyone already gets good prices. For example I don't charge 100'sK for a 223 VK or millions for DXR6-b, etc.

I am of the view that a guild member will get stuff for free. I already slice for free and now I give them a weapon and slice it. I dont want to be in a guild that is more than 50 members unless I knewmost of them well. For me being in a huge guild is not for me.

1) Give guild members stuff for free. I dont use my personal looted krayt tissues for them unless I just want to be nice.

2) I tell other people to check my vendors, if they want a custom made weapon for something like a special name, scope, enhanced, or special schematic weapon... I will do it for the price that I charge for regular stuff + cost of food/drink if they want it to be the best. They have to come to me and then I craft it while they wait... I am just a 10 point smith with semi decent resources so people dont come to me with special requests.

1. a guildie asks for some standard weapons. I'd make those for free but my guild is fairly small. I guess it comes down to a question of what your guildmembers do for you. Do they bring you loot components and schematics? If so do they give them to you or offer them for sale? If they sell them to you do they offer discounted prices? Even if they don't really help you out, I'd still consider a reasonable discount since a guild that size would make a nice customer base.Take advantage of the size of your guild. If it's so big that you don't know everyone, draft a letter of introduction and have your guildleader forward it in a Guild group mailing. I'm guessing that if you put the call out for loot or whatever else you needed and offered something in return, you'd probably get a pretty good response.

2. a guildie brings you schematics and components and asks you to make a certain product of it. See above. As long as its for personal use I do it for free. If they are having your craft items for them to sell, then more of a partnership arrangement would be in order.

3. a stranger asks you to make some standardweapons for him/her. I sell sliced weapons primarily, so I'd point them to my vendor if I had that weapon in stock. Otherwise I'd charge standard price but I'm very unlikely to ever craft on the spot.

4. a stranger brings you schematic and components and asks you to make a certain product of it. I charge 100k per craft, so if I have to craft just the weapon it's 100k, if I have to craft the weapon and component, it's 200k.

As a rule I tell guildies to tip me what it is worth.

Schematics and loot I make them what they want and get the rest or schemas I make one for them and get the schema free.

High end weapons for the guild...I auction to them first. Auction Forums second.

Starangers who ask... "I have a tent full of vendors. They are on corellia and registers on the map so go to my shop and look. No I dont have a waypoint they are registered on the map. If I dont have what you want email me your order."
