Just wondering if any of you do run these similar to the guide I have linky in my sig.
On Bloodfin it is a very common thing. Just wondering about other servers. Its also a very good way to voice competition between higher ranking smiths. I consider myself the best on Bloodfin and always find it annoying to watch the competition and go up or down depending on what everyone else is doing.

1) Don't ever say your he best, its arrogant. Top of the line, top quality, easily in the top 3, all have better connotations than, I am the best. Its just my .02 on this issue, and is really a personality thing.
2) Loot buying guides aren't that common on Starsider, because of undercutting I think. Plus, tons of loot goes up on forums, or you ask your weaponsmith how much they would be willing to pay for it and if they need it. That is usually how it works over here.
3) Wow, I wish I could buy a majority of all that loot at those prices. The Starsider economy is so screwed over, those 7 yellow cube sets usually go for between 1 and 3 million credits. And tissues ouch even worse. Basically the fighter buying parts to get a cheaper weapon via custom order has driven the prices of loot up over here, as well as continuous inflation, and those damn dupers that are now kicked from game but they couldn't have caught everything.

On the point of number one.
I'm by no means an arrogant person but the last very very good WS just quit. I am the ONLY one on the server to stock all kinds of weapons and have the highest quality of what I stock. By saying that I also meant I have a huge customer base to give an idea of how quickly stuff sells.
1-3 mil for those kind of yellow cubes though... damn that sucks and people always say Bloodfin has the most over-infalted economy.

The way i look at loot pricing is that it has to come within2 things
1. I have to be able to make a profit using it without overcharging when selling the item (base krayt tissue selling at 100k+)
2. There has to be a balance between price/value 1 use schems selling for 3 million nope....

I kind of like this approach. Wonder if I could get it started on Lowca successfully....probably not since auctions get pretty inflated here. Unfortunately. ![]()

Hehe, they used to go for 1-2 mil but since I am the only WS with a loot buying guide I solely lowered the price and people (who were obviously not intellegent) started flooding me with them at 50k
Because I was able to buy scems at 50k I am able to sell very very high end geo blasters for like 100k each and make so much profit it can't even compare.
This lead to all people buying scems for 1 mil not even being able to break even and then they just stopped buying scems alltogether.
Ever since then the price has not gone back up.... it was probally the best buisiness move I have ever made in this game.
