Thread: Give me a reason to craft

At this point I do not see any reason to craft weapons until the revamp is completed. I would hope that they address a number of flaws in the games design to fix what amount to useless/meaningless weapons. There is absolutely no point in crafting certain weapons because well to be blunt they suck. If I were to carft anything now it would be a waste of resources as what I make should not be on par with the improvements which are needed. The question now is what happenes to existing stock? When the change comes will there be retroactive modifications to my stock or will it just be delete button fodder?

Given the choice between style over substance. I'll take a sandwich.

Because the combat upgrade isnt coming out tomorrow or next week. Thats why we continue down the path we are on until we see that its going to be implemented. If you stop crafting now you might as well drop WS until after the new years or more.

Please come to Infinity and sell mine. I did a factory run of 25weeks ago just because I like to have as wide a selection as possible on my vendors and I think i've sold about three in total.

How long have you been as WS? I have been going strong since March. I must admit sometimes it is very monotonous. But I like it. I know we have a few flaws that need to be fixed but I like crafting weapons. Funny thing lately though, and you guys should test this to and see if it is true on your servers, I cannot keep DL44s in stock. Same with Power 5s. As a matter of fact those two are prolly my best selling weapons right now. Though with a good slice I get my DL44s in the 87/207 2.3 range. Not to bad.

I really enjoy having a full vendor though. I like to know that I have everything I can make on the vendor, in the game. And I think the players appreciate it also. The only ones that really b itch about it are the power gamers, or the die hards that have been here since like day 2.

I gurantee if you build it...Someone will buy it. That includes the E11s, the DL44s, the Strikers (which I really do find useless), the rocket launchers (Which I really find I cant get what I put into it price wise), and everything more than Scythes, Laser Rifles, PHs, and Stun Batons.

Oh..Last thing really. Got a SWORD, normal SWORD sliced to 205 this week. I couldnt believe it!

Craft because all those speed sliced Krayt and Acklay weapons that aren't selling on your vendors will be hot commodities.

When I feel like you do, I go to the vendors of my biggest competition... you know, that one single smith who annihilates EVERYONE with his uber loot weapons and billions of credits...

Go pick any ONE non-enhanced weapon, then keep crafting them with various resources until you finally beat his/her stats. Then make sure you farm a ton of the resources.. Stash them somewhere, and do it again with another weapon.

Ooh, another fun thing to do is make weapons, and NOT put all the points into damage. You know how awesome a D18 with everything in efficiency and range is? well, it's not awesome, but it's unique.

I'm sorry to say but it's just plain silly to not max out dmg/speed at this point in crafting. Now after that is done you can still make a unique weapon by focusing on either ham/condition/range. You can be unique, but most poeple won't buy your weapon if dmg/speed are not optimal.

Absolutely. I'm just having fun. Until I get my +2 extra points, I just mess around, collect resources, and make silly weapons.

As soon as I can afford +300 krayt tissue, I'll be putting that in a D18 as well... then putting all my points into range and efficiency .

if you haven't noticed, the D-18 is the coolest weapon ever.

Because as a WS you make alot of dough, and spend a ton of it. Now if you stop, you cease to make all that cred but still spend it. So you will be in debt pretty soon so start weaponsmithing .

How much do you get for those DL44's and Power 5's, if I may ask?
