Thread: Executioner's Hack question

Hello Weaponsmiths ... I just have a quick question (or two) about the new Executioner's Hack schematic that I purchased. I would like to know what resources and/or items I should be thinking about getting to make this a "nice" weapon. Also, I do not want to spend millions of credits on this thing. To me, its just a tool (albeit a little more pricey than my power hammers). I do not take part in PvP, so having the most "uber" (I hate that term) weapon is not an issue. Anyway, I hope I'm getting my point across.
What components do I need, in addition to this schematic, to have a Master Weaponsmith craft it for me?

Truth be told they are more often used as decoration. They use the same componets as a scythe blade and the same resources as a scythe but the scythe has alot better damage. The difference in the Hack schem and the Scythe schem is the hack is 1 use and the scythe is 2 uses. If you look at the post on this board that asked the same question but for a scythe the answers are the same except the max hacks you can get with that schem is 2.

You can get the Carbonite Steel the Phrik Aluminum if you want, and even the Neutronium Steel for the cores...
But, any established weaponsmith will likely have tens of thousands of units of all of these materials at or near the best on the server; enough to build your hack a few thousand times over.

Instead of shopping for the raw resources, hoping to beat your smiths material by 1-2%, IMHO a Swordsman's time would be FAR better spent in the Geo Caves seeking the best set of (6) Geo Sword Cores you can find, or the best sets of (7) Yellow Geonosian Power Cubes and (7) Geonosian Solidifying Agents you can find.
You can get away with only 2 matching Geo sword cores, or 3 Cubes/agents or even omit the agents if you like, but you will only get 1 Hack in place of the 2 you could get. If you really want to be prepared, a Geonosian sword core schematic might not be a bad thing to have in your pocket, but most of us are up to our eyes in those.
Then get the schematic for the Hack. That's the expensive part. If you don't have that, you will pay dearly for it.
Mail your smith to arange a time & place, show up with all the loot items and schematic(s) in hand and something resembeling a smile on your face, and very few smiths will put much of adent in your pocket for assembly & raw materials.

One rule I have learned is most WS will have the items in question you need to create your schematic you just need to supply if you want the geo elements for it such as the cores or cubes. Its also best to hunt down respected WS and see what they have in the way of resources to create your weapon, the exe hack requires phrik and carb steel so ask the WS what is the highest SR on their phrik aluminum and carbonite steel. If they say they have anything at or above 900 you are golden.

Wow... you guys are definitlely Weaponsmith's ... and I'm not. It's almost like me trying to speak Latin. Sorry.
Here's the deal... I already have the Executioner's Hack schematic. I was just curious about things like power cubes, tissues, etc. I definitely am not going to try finding the main resources necessary (iron, steel, etc). I have several Master Weaponsmith's on Tempest that I am planning on contacting for crafting my new Axe (or 2, hopefully).
Thanks to all of you for responding. I really appreciate your help and comments.
And, to Felton... congrats on the new role here. A cheer for a fellow Tempest-ite !!!!

Go to those links for a list of the resources you need, and the best resources. I usually sell exec hacks for near 125k for speed sliced, so they dont go for much. Not sure on your server though =)

From my experience, if you're master swordsman it's nice to have a Hack in your inventory. I know it does less damage than a Scythe, but the HAM costs on it are much lower. So if you're musician buff is gone and you're full on food and can't eat any canape it can be your friend.
And let's face it. Head hit 3 tears most everything up in PvE. So 50 points of damage never seemed to bother me too much. It was just one more hit.

I don't think phrik goes over 900 for SR, could be wrong
