Thread: tissues and the flame thrower

alright my fellow ws ive got some tissues
11 58 -.54
8 55 -.33
and a bunch of others like those
are these tissues worth using in a flamethrower b/c my alt is a caped swordsman/commando and im looking to get a really nice flamer

the 11 should be sold on the forums to a riffleman wanting to take a chance on a damage slice..the others could be used in a flamer, although lower speed would be better (somewhere around -0.70 speed)

I would make a FT with a Theme park Stock and see how it comes out before using the tissue in one. Figure with the -.54 you will save that off the speed of the one you made. Current on Kuari I am able to make a 4.0 speed FT with the Theme Park Stocks.
I hit 3.9 wtih those stocks

For a really fast flamer, you're going to need both tissues and the form-fitted stock... you can get 3.3 like that.

I made a 3.0 speed flamethrower yesterday, it got a damage slice lol

Thats the thing with FTs, damage/speed, its a win/win situation

They are both modest tissues. As always the resource will sell better then the finished product. So If your looking for dough sell the tissues. Do not use them useing them can only cost you credits.
If you want to sell a weapon made from them for self gratification.
Go with a flamethrower. Atleast its not a win/lose situation. More like a win/win. Damage and speed wise you cannot go wrong.
If you can get a form fitted stock then yes use it. If you cannot do not sweat it. Since most players have done the themepark the stocks are not entirely that common anymore.
My advice is unless you are a flamer expert. Example haveing made dozens of flamers. You might want to have another smith do it for you. Since you arent sure what these tissues will get you yourself. I would say look for a good weaponsmith to make it for you. Save the trouble of you not doing the tissue justice or haveing it blow up in your face. Better to deal with someone who makes great power handlers barrels and stocks. Someone who has the best petro your server spawned and so on.
No dig at you, but why risk loseing 15 points of damage on the weapon. Considering that you are useing krayt tissues. Its got to be near perfect. Otherwise you can end up with a gun that looks just like a non krayt gun.
