Thread: Rancor teeth with 186 damage... wondering how much i should pay for these...

a set of four. How much are these rancor teeth worth? don't have the slighest clue because i've never ran across a set of teeth this high before... thanks for your time

WOW! those are kickass.
I'd pay as much as you feel is right. I don't like paying much for loot components but those are by far the highest I've seen.
I made some 2h curved swords with the85 max dmg ones and they turned out great.
Really though depends on your server and how insane the pricing is there.

Yea... i've been asking around and nobody knows... maybe Felton will pay this thread a visit? He's on my server and all..... Felton... where are u?

By chance do you have a minimum damage on those teeth. If they are too low they will not go as far. Remember your replaceing a sword core. So if the min damage on those teeth is like 15 they might not be as stellar as you would like. Remember most times the damage dealt by a weapon is in the lower third of its damage arc. Just to keep that in mind what is the min damage.

On Farstar there were some exceptional Tooth with over 300 Max Dmg.

You need to figure out what you want to make with them and price based on what weapon would sell for.
2H curved would be 397 max unsliced on most servers but min damage will only be around 30-40 and speed would be 3.1 or slower.
Compare that to a scythe, you are getting about 50-60 more max but losing over 100 min dmg.
So I'm thinking you are looking at 75%-100% of a scythe price on your server for peeps that would use it, maybe abit more for novelty collectors. then price loot down from there.

isuggest making 2h curved swords, hope for damage slices and then sell them on the trade forum board. I ran into some +207 teeth a couple weeks ago made a couple 2h swords, preslice was 414 max dam forget all stats (sorry they sold) . Did get a 30% damage slice on one though brought it to 37-539 . Pretty good for a 2h sword

Nice! The best I've been able to use was some 8-108 bones... one of them turned out great (with insanely high speed though)
