Ok I'm going to be a weaponsmith soon and I thought of making a thread where pepole can post what they think certain weapons should be, like anything at all...
please remember to think of a good price range for weapons in general... sliced weapons andweapons with above-the-norm stats would obviously have some sort of price variation, weapons that have damage done to them would obviously sell cheeper or have the traits of a "wall hanger." (If I sound new to this sort of thing... I am, don't worry about it)
Also try and read the previous posts and see if you can come up with new info as this thread grows.
This will be a thread any new weaponsmiths can come to have a better idea of what to price their weapons, going more expensive if they feel their weapons are unique in their stats, going cheeper if they feel the need to add competition to the market.
If this thing works, it works, if not, ah well...

The only prices that really matter are the ones on your server, and the easiest way to find out what you are up against is just hit the global search on the bazaar and shop the competition. Once you see how your quality stacks up against there you'll have a good feel for what your pricing should be.

The first few days I stocked HC scatters I jumped the gun and pulled the first 9 out while the factory was still going. I put em up for say 30k unsliced (was selling em for 20k pre-cu unsliced). All 9 sold in a matter of hours. I posted the rest of the crate at 100k, those sold in the next couple days. That is 25 sold, I bumped the price up to 150k and posted the next crate of 25 (only made 50 of them from some spare pre-cu parts). Almost all of those sold within the next 2 days and I ended up pulling about 5 of em to save for guldies or for whatever.
I checked the global bazaar last night and the other couple smiths on the bazaar that came even close to 314dps (closest was 311 at the time) for non-krayt were 250k each. So in reality I was underpricing them I probably could have put them all up for 200 or even 250k and sold them a bit slower and got more $.
The point is, compare your stuff, see how well it sells. If you are an uknown, you have a strike against you, and if you have only 10 points that is another strike. Compare your stats and get some barking droids and register for the global bazaar and let the customers decide what is the right price.
