I think it was said in the last dev chat, that some of the things the cube can produce will not be tradable, e.g. schematics. So if the loot you need to produce the shematic is not tradable and the resulting schematic is not tradable, then many crafters are screwed.

I got the cube items, they were untradeable. However what came out of the cube was tradeable. There's a guide as to what bits are needed to get particular items from the cube on the Game Guides forum.

Chu-Gon Cube Item Database

If you find combo's that aren't there, please add them.

BTW, what quest grant's the cube?

So the stuff that goes into the cube isn't tradeable? So then there's no point in a crafter getting the cube, because more than likely a crafter won't be able to get many of the items that go into it. So this is really new combat content, and not really new crafting content.

Glad I didn't get ToOW on my crafter toon.

ye ai didnt get toow on my crafter either. Hopefully in a couple of days we'll find the final word saying that no tradeable schematics can be obtained by a ws. Thatll be when its time to change my temp.

Well, I went to get the cube with my crafter and noticed the three freebie ingredients were listed as non-trade. Logged in combat toon and got another cube then went killing for more bits. Every one said non-trade, so basically if you don't have a combat toon it's a matter of waiting until someone has the schems for sale/trade.

I'm extremely disappointed with ToOW and regret spending real money on it.

Talk to the guy called Ithes (I think that's right). He sends you out to search for a temple type place. Find the three tablets there and return to him. He gives you the cube and three freebie items to use in it. A crafter can do this bit easy. The looted bits to go in it I found on Lvl 70+ NPCs at a few places around the planet. The higher end bits drop from the very tough CL 82+ Boss Marks, I suspect these bits are needed for the Weapon schems.

I've seen a post on the General Discussion forum saying the schems from the cube are non-trade. If so this truly sucks, what would a combat toon want with a schem they can't use, and if that's so how the hell are crafters supposed to get them.

Every glowy bitsI have loted except for the ones granted when completing the quest has been tradable.

It was stated during beta that the glowy parts would be tradable, but not the cube, bor the scheamtics from the cube.

The Cube quest can be done asCL 1.

The bits you will have to get as a CL 80 (or thereabouts) and probably in a group or buy from people who loots them.
