Anyone else feel like second class citizens? We (crafters) really sorta are. In a fight we are fodder, in the economy we are maybe a little better off then our combat counterparts but really when you see how much we gave up (+90% of all ground content) It is hard to seewhy many people want to be crafters. I am a crafter because I likeit but some times when Iam looking for a hunting group and theysay 70+ only I really question why I am a crafter
How would I be less sad? Make crafting levels give combat levels but no bonuses. That way wecan hunt/be safewith others and be able to have more of the content.

Yeah.. you know, I've always thought about that. I'm actualy a combat profession myself but, I mean, most Crafters I know are toltaly rich and stuff but what are they going to spend it on? More resources to make things then to sell them then make money then spend it on resources again? How is that fun? Thats not fun, Combat is always different, we have quests, PvP, SF, I mean, Crafters have money for things, but it's not really incredibly hard for a Combat Prof to get money to buy things, Crafters need some sort of content other than making, selling, buying, making, selling, buying.

Some people like making a name for themselves. Over the years I have been "The best WS on the server", now I'm one of many that can double cap weapons. I'd say the most motivation I had was when I was competing fiercly with Tarantir back in the day, but as big smiths come and go I have always been there. The only reason why I probably still am WS (not that I need creds anymore) is that I have a jedi alt (full temp) to play with when I want to PVE. If I was stuck to 1 char (used to have an alt to buff my jedi and go pvp as non-jedi but no more) I don't know if I'd still be a WS with the huge bankroll I have now. Basically I like to be ther when people need custom stuff done, I don't stock noob weapons, only my pre-cu server best stuff and a couple other things just so my vendors don't go empty. I am waiting out to see how this whole ToOW fiasco turns out and after the new year I'll probably have a good idea whether I'll be purchasing the expansion or not.

I am a MBH/MWS and only have one main toon. That means I am limited in what content I have. I heard somewhere that the devs are looking into a vet reward of a free second toon unlock. If that was the case I would be more then happy, I'd be thrilled

Where did you hear that from? I for one don't see them doing it but you never know.

Tiggs commented on the idea to help stop the jedi pop from getting so large. It was a few weeks ago or so. She said she would pass the idea alont to the team. I know I only wanted a jedi for the second toon.

Yet another arse about face decision. If they wished this to be a MMO with interaction and interdependency no one would ever get a second toon, even Jedi. Why the hell Jedi get one anyway is beyond me, they made the choice what to do with their SP same as everyone else.
