OK I know that you can use krayt tissue to make killer ranged weapons. But my question is this can you make killer swords for the swordsman and fencers? If you can what kind of loot do you need? Also I want to know if anyone answering to this post is on Eclipse?

Hi there well im sorry to say that it is impossible to make a sword typewith enhancements atleast in my experiens as a master weaponsmith ... atleast its no slots for enhancements in the core or weapon on the sword and blunt type weapons (there is slot in vibro type weapons)

well.. there is the Rancor Tooth that can be added to sword as an enhancement. But that enhancement was quickly shot down as not being significant. I have never personally tried it though.

Yah no real enhancements for melee right now.. the rancor tooth is a 'replacement' to the sword core, and isnt as good as a master can make...

Be patient though things are coming...

And a little hint... I personally saw one weapon when meeting with one of the devs... looks pretty tight... think of the 'double tipped' blade from star trek that klingons use... (you can see these in game on display in some places...seen it at guild halls)...

Hopefully it will be added soon, and much more..just a matter of time

Melee eh? The Krayt Dragon Pearl is a "Melee Weapon Component" Anyone know why it says this?

same reason that the twin-force crystal i got on the bazaar for 500cr was listed this way. They go into the crafting of light sabre's which apparently are classified as a melee type weapon.

Someone posted that there can be enhancements attached to vibro-type weapons. Knowing not a darn thing about weaponsmithing, can I get some info on this. For instance, would krayt tissue work?, and if so, how much krayt tissue would you need for a vibro-blade? Has anyone done this, and do you have any stats on it? Thanks a bunch.
