Does any weaponsmiths carry this hard to find weapon. I am currently on teh shadow fire server and have not found a single person selling it. The best weapon i see for sale for fencer's is the ryyk blade. I would really like to know if anyone has the materials, specifically the byrothsis crytalinne gem to make this weapon. I would also like to know if anybody knows where to get it, I'm willing to give it to a weaponsmith for FREE, as long as they make me a stun baton. I will even pay for it.

Most likely the weaponsmiths who have made it, found that lower level weapons produce better stats. The dev's have set it up so that higher end weapons have to use worse materials than lower end weapons, so the lower end weapons can have better stats than a supposedly, more advanced weapon. You may want to check out the curved swords, as they also tend to be better than the Ryyk Blade. A curved sword with a nicely made advanced core is a very nice weapon and most of the components are completely open to the weaponsmith making the weapon, so he can use the best possible of any materials for the curved sword. Stun Baton would require the best of crappy materials to make...so you may want to look at other weapons.

biggest reason you never see them is because they never sell. When i hit master I made 4 of everything in melee and ofcourse kept up with everything that was hot in my firearms selection plus new stuff at master like dx2 etc.2 months later I still had 4 stun batons on my server and I only priced the dang things at 8k. I compared stats w/ all the other masters, and my stats were just as good as everyone else that had made one if not better. Finally after 2 months i got fed up, deleted all 4 of them and stopped making melee entirely. I had to relist the stupid things 10 times from the stockroom. By comparison I can barely keep up with my firearms and commando weapons.

pretty much same story as eeman, i get asked for some and i make 5 or so up and then they rot on the vendor forever.

Just easier to ask a smith to make you one.

Um, Eeman, Nador, did you guys make these stun batons before reinforcement cores were invented?

Because an advanced reinf. core will made a big boost to a stun baton. It doesn't become an uber-weapon by any stretch of the imagination, but it at least becomes useful.

Part of the problem, of course, is that the population of Fencers is pretty small compared to the other combat classes
