Well i have decimated Nym crews all over Lok, in the stronghold, and all over the planet: Guards, Droidekas, Elites Guards/Pirates. I've been on this killing spree for days. Thus far: i have looted 10 vibros, 2 power capicators, but no dang Feed ehancements (the target of my search). Anyone know whats going on, other than these feed enhancements are uber-rare?

Patience my friend. They drop you just got unlucky. I am the Nym killing master on Kauri. I have killed more nyms, canyon people (red guys with 12k ham), Mercenarys, and Marooned Piratesthan probably anyone on the server combined hehe. Anyways, the nyms folks drop 4 different weapon enhancments. 1) High Powered Vibro motors (usually 20 damage but i have looted some as high as 31 damage), High Powered Energy Capacitators <spelling?) (these are also 20 damage and enhance the powerhandler in the same slot the krayt tissue goes in ), High Frequency Vibro Motors (these are scrap and only enhance for 5% wound chance on melee weapons much like the HPVM's), and finally the loving High Velocity Feed Mechanisms. (most are 20 damage but i have looted several sets that are 22,25,26 damage +

When you loot you have a random chance at looting any of the 4, and its rare to get any. I have been pretty lucky with HPVM's and HVFM's as i have around 40 HVFM's and 50 HPVM's. Keep trying, and keep killing they'll drop some. I have found that when it rains it pours when looting HVFM's.. some days ill go skunked all day.

Thanks for the encouragement! After I posted this, I finally found 1 Feed enhancement....FINALLY. Now I combined that with a Krayt Tissue and made a Sweet FWG5. BTW, its Nyms that drop right, not the Mercs, Corsair, and Marooned? Ive killed a ton of them too, but no drop.

If I get 1 more of those +5 wound Vibro things, Im going to scream.

Correct, Nyms drop HVFM's and so do all droideka modeled NPC's also. Marooned People dont drop **edit** but your HAM, Canyon People drop lots of credits and an occasional Locked Container, and finally Mercs .. now these mercs drop some poison weapons and exceptional stuff on occasion but nothing really worth noting.

They still drop, still just random/rare as heck

Can you tell me how to find these Nyms, do you just go to Lok and run around till you bump into them, or are there missions that will bring me to them?

Also, pardon my ignorance, but what are droideka modeled NPC's?

You can get missions, or they spawn all over the place. I think some even spawn INSIDE the city now (not sure if these are different than the wilderness ones).

Droideka are the rolling robots from Episode 1. There's a bunch of things that look like this and they're basically the same, so people use "droideka modeled NPCs" to refer to all of them.
