I remember reading in the patch notes that to counter the power blaster handler krayt enhancement the projectile feed mechanism was going to have a similar thing that could be added to it to boost the stats of weapons that use it as a power source. Any word on what this is?

It's the gorax bone shards from Endor.

No one knows where to find a gorax or if they even exist any more - they used to be part of a quest series, but they were removed from that and I haven't heard of anyone seeing a gorax since then.
