With people just sending in applications, the election of one of our peers to correspondent is a hit or miss deal. The devs don't know anyone on the these boards from Adam. Guess what? We do know the folks that make a difference and offer sound input. We know who has been here the longest and has weathered the onslaught of bug after bug and no-fix nerf solutions galore. We need someone that won't blame the weather for their lack of presence (FEH! <Diabalo>. We need someone that won't quit a week after their appointment. We need someone who has had the opportunity to make everything craftable by a weaponsmith (Which is asking a WHOLE lot, I know).

My hope is that Thuderheart reads this and takes our wishes into consideration when choosing our figurehead.

I would like to take the first shot at two nominations. Ace (Logix) and Jennai (LLJK_GRIZ) are the two weaponsmiths I believe that have a solid background and are both very well written. They haven't quit thus far and I hope they never will. If you don't wish to be correspondent then just post your recommendation and mention that you will respectfully abstain.
