I have a private weapon crafting station (42+). It is my understanding that this is the highest rated crafting station you can have.

Anyway, when I craft a weapon component (doesn't matter which one as far as I can tell), it will come out at, let's say 14 percent. If I go to a public weapon crafting station, the same component using the exact same materials will result in, let's say 23 percent. This happens consistently. Needless to say, I now craft all weapon components at a public crafting station. It doesn't seem to have aneffect when assembling the weapon itself. On a side note, I purchased my private crafting station about 2 months ago.

Can anyone confirm this? If so, is this a problem with a "pre-patch" private crafting station?

Wow, that does suck. I don't personally notice any appreciable difference in quality between pub and private, only that high end privates minimize failure (subjective I know) Though if you're getting consistant results like that, I'd try another private, that's for sure.
