Thread: I'm looking to buy the best pistol money can buy any advice?

You'll need to get some krayt tissues, at least 3 of the same serial number. The best ones have 100+ damage modifiers. You can get these from either hunting Krayt Dragons with your own group, or by paying millions of credits for them on the market (assuming someone is actaully selling them at the time. Krayt tissues drop about every 1 in 15 kills, however 100+ tissues drop once every month of Sundays.
You could ask an extremely trustworthy and helpful weapon smith to shop around for them, but you could just as easliy do this yourself.
Next you will need to have them built into an advanced power handler. If you can get more than 3 tissues then the weaponsmith will have more latitude to experiment with and therefore more than likely get you a better result. Before building them into a Adv BPH, go to swgcraft.com and work out the best possible resources ever to spawn on your server. Find out if your weaponsmith has these and if they do not, aquire them for him/her. Next have them build the schematic using your tissue. The gun will need two tissues and one for the schematic, so 3 total minimum. Every extra tissue means an extra attempt at getting a better expirmentation result on the schematic, so these are good to have if you really want the best. All tissues must be of the same serial number.
Finally once the schematic has been through the factory and you have two nice Adv BPH, ask you smith to build them into a Republic Blaster. This is currently the most powerful pistol after the FWG5 nerf. Once again go to swgcraft.com to find the best possible resources to use in the final build of the gun. Help your smith get these if need be.
Things to note: There are two bulds in this gun, maybe more if you have extra tissues for extra experimentation attempts. Any of these builds could critical fail destroying all resoruces involved with the build. If you fail the final build you have lost everything.
Republic Blasters are currently the best, but a week ago the FAG5 was the best. There is no guarrantee Republic Blasters will stay the best.
So this is your quest for the perfect pistol on your server. It will take you either a great deal of time in game, or great many millions of credits to achieve,. I wish you the very best of luck

Just look for a Krayt FWG5 (pre-nerf). Good stats/speed for a couple hundred k, on average.
Now that I think about it I guess the price on them will probably go up.

Justa follow up, there is currently an auction on my server for 3 +144 krayts. It's at 7 million for the whole set. That should give you an idea of the price for the very best. If you are on Ahazi, could be a chance to get your stuff, if money really is no object

Hi.
As a newly elected mayor, I feel that my life is in danger and I need to have a trusty pistol by my side thatcan see off would-be assassins as quickly as possible. Fortunately, before becoming a Politician I had trained as a Pistoleer.
Can anyone recommend or sell me a good pistol that I can wear under my mayor's robes?
I've got an FWG5 already that does about 190 DMG unsliced.
