Ok, here is how this goes:
Resource experiment is 66/33
Resource #1 is 765/916=807.18
Resource #2 is 737/969=806.19
Resource #3 is 797/802=790.68
Which one produces the best results? If you answer #1, then #2, then #3 you would be 100% WRONG! in fact, and after multiple tests with everything else held exactly equal, #3 is the winner producing at least 1 point more in min / max damage then either #1 or #2.
Is this a bug? I mean crafting weapons is nasty enough now with all the loot dominated stuff we put up with, but if I have to go back and actually test every single resource to see if it behaves the way it should,... Well, Houston we have a problem.
Or, did I miss a post some where that explained that 66/33 actually means 80/20? I'm using 80/20 because working backward that is the only way you can make #3 come out better then both #1 and #2.
Note, I'm not "mad" just concerned that this may apply to more then just this one case, and even if it doesn't it's a bug that really needs to be corrected.

I assume you are making abphs. Here is some info for you related to weightings:
I was involved in this thread proving how weightings were done. If you do the formulas for abphs this is about the numbers you get. This person has some rounding differences but nothing major.
Here is the original thread with my experiment and the info below being on page 2.
-------------------------
CD: 66% total
Diatium = 25.35%
Phrik = 40.56%
OQ:33% total
Polymer = 7.5%
Diatium = 3.75%
Ore = 3.75%
Phrik = 6%
Gas = 12%
Ok ... so it's off by a few hundreths of a percent due to rounding ... but that is the long and short of how the resources affects the overall outcome.
--------------------------
When you run the numbers you will see 3 = 371, 2 = 357, and 1 = 365, so 3 > 1 > 2.

So for an ABPH there are
only 13 res units with cond (66%)
but 46 res units with Oq (33)
So for Phrik and Diatium 89/11 is a better rating

Thank you! I knew I had to be doing something wrong. These numbers look pretty accurate, so now I'll have to build a tool that lets me calculate the actual values so I don't make this mistake again.

Correct, but this will also apply to any of the 66/33's.

This can apply to all schematics if they possess resources that call for a stat that is not present in that resource.
In abphs the ore, polymer, and gas do not have conductivity and therefore those units are removed out of the calculations which give the diatium and phrik a huge weighting.
Another example is if you are putting together XG Mines on the final assembly they take chemical, metal, and steeland stats that are important are SR and UT. If you use polymer which possesses both those stats, you actually get worse results than if you used any lub. oil because the oil does not possess SR or UT and is removed from the weightings. When using the oil this takes the chemical's 2 units out of the calculation giving more weight to the 8 units of metal and 3 of steel.

Same deal here, I can verify it. I'll completely run through my ibiism before i touch my voino.
