Can anyone clarify how skill tapes work?

My understanding is that they do not stack. What I mean by that is that if I have a 4 socket robe, I can't attach multiple +2 wepsmith experimentation tapes to it. You can't attach multiple experimentation tapes to same article of clothing. If you do, the first will work fine, but remainder will disappear. Essentially they will be cancelled out.

I've found this to be true. Can anyone else add to this?

yeah, if you put 2 of the same mod, only the highest will list, other poofs.

you can put them into diff clothing for a total combined mod of +25 spread out over many clothes. But you only need +20 or so.

Thanks for confirming. Now, if I could only find a +10 wep exp tape!
