i just recieved a weapon that i going to get sliced and i just have a few questions. - just started playing 3 weeks ago
1:Can you slice a weapon more than 1 time?
2:is the sliceing random or do you get to choose what it will come out as?
3:What are the best components for adding dmg or speed?
4: do you need more than 1 component or do you have to have a quanity of that item to slice?
5:What are the normal price rangefor sliceing with or without a component.
any aditional information you proide will be helpful as well

6:I have a PUD on my gun i see that i should remove it befor i get it slices how does one remove this:

Yes it is the wrong forum 
But since I am a Smuggler as well as a WS I will answer your questions! If you check out the stickies on the smuggler Forums on slicing you will get more information though.

1:Can you slice a weapon more than 1 time? - Yes, if you don't use up the 100% customisation then you can come back and continue slicing the weapon again up to the 100% customisation limit.
2:is the sliceing random or do you get to choose what it will come out as? Since publish 18 you can now choose the slice you want, or combination of slices, for example you could have a damage, speed and critical hit slice on the same weapon.
3:What are the best components for adding dmg or speed? Simple and Finely crafted toolkits for the the first couple of Speed\Damage slices, Illegal Core Boosters (damage) and Delicate Trigger assembly's (Speed) for the max slices.
4: do you need more than 1 component or do you have to have a quanity of that item to slice? Yes, you have to slice 1 stage at a time, so you need whichever component required for each stage of slicing.
5:What are the normal price rangefor sliceing with or without a component. Depends on your servers prices, but if you don't supply a component you are looking at a lot more than if you do, as some of the components are rare loots or drop from high end mobs.

Go into your inventory, bring up the radial for the weapon and choose "remove powerup"

#2: No, it's not random anymore. It's very, very non-random.
#5: do a search for 'slicing prices' (not 'sliceing prices') and sit back and read for a couple of hours. There are all kinds of pricing strategies. If you want the highest damage slice, though (8%), prepare to either grind for a while to try to loot the power core (many threads posted already on where to find them) or buy one for some asinine price (like a 1-3 million creds)
What kind of weapon is it, anyway? Did you loot it, have it crafted? What's the damage, SAC, speed, etc?
