i haven't checked it for awhile, it pissed me off too much the first 30 22% assemblies, but wth is up with with the Wood's SR dependency in the schem. using capped sr700 wood or near, i get an assembly 22% and the little green bar in the point and click microsoft/apple tribute method of weapon crafting assembly is only approximately 2/3rds full. what gives?

The crafting system considers wood to be a non-specific resource, so it assumes that there is no cap. That is what throws the experimentation off for the regular stocks. Since the advanced stocks take a specific resource (corellia deciduous wood), it takes into account the cap for that one and the experimentation works much better.

but i am right in in say that 'Wood' is capped at 700 SR ?

Not sure if it was intended as a bug or not. But yeah SR of wood caps at 700. Your better off with some crap corellian decidious and making advanced stocks, they would probably turn out better than your best regular stock.

That is true, a bad advanced stock is still usually better than a good regular stock. The problem is that since the CU, you can't use and advanced stock in place of a regular stock anymore, so you are stuck with making regular stocks for lower level weapons.
