I am not a weaponsmith as you can tell from my question. When you experiment on weapons, is the min and max damage experimented on independently? I am trying to figure out which pistol will do the highest possible damage. I know everyone says the FFWG and DE-10 based on max damage cap, but I think it is more complicated. I would think the best weapon would be 8% away from the max damage cap (to be sliced), reasonable SAC (85 or lower), and the highest min damage possible. Now what would this do for you? This would allow for greater damage from damage power ups since they are based on min damage, and it would help out when going up against targets with high defense (ie Master Defenders). So which weapon has a naturally high min damage? What would a pistol look like if you experimented based on my priorities mentioned above (using the best materials available of course)?

No Damage is one line of exp and it's results sets both the min and max values together.

Hope that helps

You want to stay 8% away from the slice cap, not the crafted cap... they are different. Featherweight FWG5 slice cap is 935, crafted cap is 966
