Thread: difference between MWS and MWCT
What is the difference in experimentation points available between a:
Novice Weaponsmith with Master Weapons Crafting Techniques and a
Master Weaponsmith
???
http://www.swgcenter.com/info/SkillTree.asp?ID=4&CID=
according to the info on that link there is deffinitely a difference...
Master weaponsmith has a +25 to experimentation, but what exactly does that equate to in number of experimentation points?
Incidentally, it appears that all 3 previous levels of weapons crafting technique gives approximately a 200% greater boost to experimentation that attaining master weaponsmith itself...
but what does it all transltae to in terms of actual experimentation points when you're crafting?

I believe it is 3 experimentation points you can use...Cuz you have 10 at master and if memory serves correctly it was 7 at master craft technique
I'm believing I'm thinking the same thing...and Master weaponsmith is +100 Experimentation not +25??
right, the gap is precisely 25 experimentation point apart...
75+25=100
hence +25 for MWS
which seems to equate to 10 points of experimentation being 100% MWS
so 75% of ten is approximately 7.5 rounded down to seven because it only counts whole points of experimentation.
Thanks for the info.
Next question...
Does the other increase 'weapon assembly' refer to your likelihood of getting an 'amazing success' during crafting?
And one final question...
Does anyone know of any items which increase weaponsmithing experimentation points?
Thanks
assembly coincides with how often you critical fail during the assembly process.
there are skill tapes that increase experimentation, but they are rare, and it usually takes a handful of them to get the +10 needed for an extra experimentation point.
Dark Jedi?
Night Sisters?
Which NPCs? Which Planets/Locations?
