Thread: What do DRX mines do?
Hello,
New weaponsmith and I'm experimenting with everything as I go along.
I made my first DRX mine today and don't seem to be able to find any use for it.
What does it do? How come I can't use it?

Actually, they are used in Minefields, which can be purchased with Faction Points at your local recruiter...
Yes. Go boom. The difference between DRX and the other mines is that they have the fastest reload speed, lowest damage, and heaviest armor piercing. I believe they do blast damage.
XG mines are also fast, do somewhat more damage, have light AP, and also do blast damage (I think - correct me if I'm wrong).
Lastly, anti-vehicular mines are slow, do the most damage, have light AP, and do heat damage.
Those are just off the top of my head. Corrections are welcome.
DRX's have Heavy AP, lowest damage,and do blast damage. They area huge PITA to craft in terms of both resources required (including rare resources) and time.Few people make them, therefore you may well find a market for them. Prices range from 35-50K per crate.
XG's have Light AP, good damage, and blast damage. They are very easy to craft. Prices range from 12-20K per crate.
I have heard that the anti-vehicular mines are not as good as the XG's, but haven't actually made any of those yet, so I can't speak for their stats
