Well I thought I would make up some acid stream launchers for a commando buddy of mine on the radiant server I slapped everything together came out with a nice 1k min 3k max dmg 5.4 speed for the bugger with 32 uses I planned to make 7 of em since I was low on ABPHs I slid that thing into my factory and all I could say is what the *&^% 464 timer on it. I mean I know we can make powerful stuff and it should take time to make the items but that seems a bit extreme to have a 464 timer on it. Imagine if it were 5k max dmg it could zoom up to 660 timer on it
we really need to beg the devs that we atleast have a 15% cutdown if not more on our factory workloads I have lost deals to numerious people because I would under estimate the amount of time to produce the components for grenades then the grenades themselves.

Factory time is dependent on complexity not damage. The more you experiment on it the longer it will take to make. Use as many EXP points in one experiment run as you can to reduce the complexity. IOW if you are a 10 pt smith and use 1 point at a time you are going to raise the complexity of the weapon by 10 points (not sure how it translates into time). If you use 5 points at a time the complexity goes up by 2 points.
After the smuggler revamp complexity will play an even bigger part in slicing.

factory time per item is 8 x complexity
as opposed to 2 x complexity - 1 for manual crafts
as opposed to 2 x complexity - 1 for manual crafts
