one of the things i love to do after i create a phat new weapon like a flame thrower is to equip it and look at my weaponsmith holding it proudly.
i noticed that in the cu you can no longer equip weapons that you are not certed for.
that blows... one step closer to fps, one more step away from rpg.

this is the first game I've ever played where you (used to anyways) COULD equip uncerted weapons...

YOU MEAN I WONT BE ABLE TO EQUIP MY CRATE OF T21's THAT HAVE JUST COME OUT OF THE FACTORY??!?!??!!oneoneone!11
Wow game breaking........
I dont really see it as a problem but I know where you are coming from. The CU has much positives that far out weigh this as far as im concerned.

Do they charge you for patching your game on a daily basis ? They don't charge me... Whereas for expansions... that is another story altogether... I don't think you'd find many other games, where expansions don't cost you extra. Sure not being able to yield uncerted weapons is a weird change, but honestly.. how many times will your WS equip a newly crafted flamer, and still think it cool ? I mean, if you've seen it once, you've seen it...

This will hit those who run around with show weapons(i.e The Hack, NSEL, Berserker Rifle). Pity those who paid top dollar to be seen with a NSEL and no longer able to equip unless a pikeman. Also goes for show armor as well. No cert no wear.
