I JUST had a carbine made that has an accuracy mod built in. Simply reads "Accuracy 17". What accuracy is this? General Accuracy or Carbine Accuracy? Is it its own accuracy category? Does it count against the +25 limit to worn mods ...aka AA/CA's?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

I don't think there is a mystery... it adds to your total accuracy when you equip the weapon. If you have 150 Rifle Accuracy, and 75 General Ranged Accuracy, and +17 Accuracy built into a weapon, when you examine your Character Sheet while holding this weapon it should show you with 242 Accuracy...

So then the mod is a category all its own? yet cumulative with the other 2 ( Carbine accuracy and General Ranged Accuracy ) and would only be limited to ITS OWN +25 limit. So I could still have +25 General Ranged accuracy, +25 Carbine Accuracy, and this carbines +17 ( to a max of +25 if it were possible ). Do I have this correct?

I may be wrong, but I don't think that there are hard caps on some stats now... I guess you should just assume more is better! Like most things in this game, SOE pretty much leaves it up to players to debate and discover these subtle nuances.. hehe.

I'm not sure you can max out accuracy, what with all it's variants (gen, ranged, carbine, on the gun). It may be one of those 'diminishing returns' kinda things that the devs hinted at though.

No. +92. The OP was talking about a carbine.

Sorry i think you may be wrong regarding the accuracy on a weapon. The accuracy built into a weapon doesnt show up on the character sheet. I have no combat skills whatsoever, all skills in the character sheet are 0. If i equip a pistol with +5 accuracy bonus, the accuracy stat on the character sheet remains at 0.

According to the load screen I read if your accuracy is much higher than the defense of the enemy you will see bonus damage.

Well assuming that the accuracy mod is added on to you accuracy and that it is not bugged which would not surprise me in the least bit. It would be worth it for PVP also accuracy dermins where between the min and max you hit if Iam not mistaken.
