Hello all,

I've just come back to the game and enjoying it quite a bit. I have an alt account I use for crafting and I am thinking of polishing him off and getting him crafting again.

My question is how is WS these days? Is there still money to be made, fun to be had?

Any thoughts on your class would be appreciated! Thanks!

IMO, in any crafting profession there is fun to be had, and money to be made. It just depends on what you consider fun, and how much money you want to make.

Weaponsmith is doing alright, especially if you were already an established 12-pointer prior to the CU. But even those of us that started Post-CU, and not a 12-pointer are making some money. And I definately am having a blast. (But I love to craft, I'm crazy)

Is there still the potential to play around with resources and make some seriously great stuff given the right amount of time? This is what I see as fun, experimenting, coming up with new stuff, etc, etc.

From what I understand, it sounds like you want to go BE now

WS used to be great fun.

Now we get to make half a dozen weapons (why bother making all the other ones, nobody wants them). All the best weapons are quest rewards (we dont even get to make them from schematics). All the other 'good' weapons we used to make from looted schems (DE10's, Geo stuff etc) are now junk.

A 12 point weaponsmith is someone who has at least +20 Weapon Experimentation Clothing Attachments. They receive 12 Experimentation points, instead of the normal 10 we get at Master.

You get an addition experimentation point per +10 Weapon Experimentation you have.
